12-year-old boy attacked by a dog in Amesbury

The boy was playing in the Hancock Drive area and the dog wasn't on a lead

Police are looking to trace the owner of a dog involved in an attack on a 12-year-old boy in March.

The boy had been playing the Hancock Drive area when the dog, which was not on a lead, ran up to him and bit him on the leg, causing a number of puncture wounds.

It happened around 4pm on 3rd March, and police are now appealing for any witnesses and information to help identify the owner of the dog.
