Woman struck by object fired from catapult in Salisbury

Police investigating another incident involving a projectile

A woman in Salisbury has been been struck by what police believe was an object fired from a catapult.

The victim, in her 40s, was hit in her lower back as she walked her dog in a field near Odstock Road

Police say she suffered 'extensive bruising' in the attack on November 6th around 1.10pm

Officers are appealing for information from anyone in the area at the time who may have seen something that could help with enquiries, or anyone that has CCTV capturing the incident.

It's the second incident involving a catapult in a matter of days.

On November 3rd a 13 year old boy was hurt after he was targeted when he walked along a footpath by New Bridge Road.
