Glastonbury Festival has applied for a licence to have a concert at Worthy Farm in September.

It comes after the festival was cancelled for the second year running due to the coronavirus pandemic.

In a post on Instagram, co-organiser Emily Eavis said "Of course, we've no idea yet whether we'll be able to do that, but we wanted to get the application in to be in with a chance."

Organisers have also applied for permission to have a "family-friendly" campsite.

Details are unclear at this stage as far as an exact date or how many people would be able to gather for the concert.
