Somerset have claimed their biggest ever win over rivals Gloucestershire in cricket's County Championship.

Play resumed yesterday (Saturday 14 May) on day three of the big west country derby.

England bowler Jack Leach took a total of 8 wickets in the match as they eased to victory.

Somerset ended the day with a record-breaking County Championship victory by an innings and 246 runs at Bristol.

It was Somerset's second largest ever victory in 147 years of First-Class cricket.
