CCTV: Man sought following Fordingbridge assault

A man in his 60s was knocked off his bike and punched

A cyclist in Fordingbridge has been knocked from his bike and punched while he was on the ground.

Hampshire Police are investigating the assault on Midgham Road at around 2.40pm on Tuesday last week (14th May).

A car door was opened against the victim, while the vehicle and bike were both stationary.

The driver of the car assaulted the male rider, in his 60s - but he wasn't injured.

Police have released a CCTV image of a man they want to trace.

The offender's described as:

• White

• Aged in his early to mid-20s

• Skinny build

• Mousy brown hair

• Tattoo on his right hand and a stud earring in his right ear

• Wearing a dark blue T-shirt, sunglasses on top of his head

• Driving a blue Honda Civic
