Fire crews from across the Island tackled the blaze in Brightstone
A home in Brightstone has been destroyed by a fire in the early hours of Tuesday.
Crews from five stations tackled the blaze in Gaggerhill Lane.
They worked overnight to ensure the fire did not spread to neighbouring properties.
Nearby residents were evacuated as a precaution.
People were also advised to keep windows and doors closed due to smoke in the area.​
