Man assaulted by two men on e-scooters in Poole

The 60-year-old was hit in the face as they rode passed

A man in his 60s has suffered injuries to his face after being hit by two men riding past on e-scooters in Poole.

Dorset Police say it happened at around 6pm on Thursday 11 April in Baiter Park.

It is reported that the victim – a local man in his 60s – was hit in the face by two men as they rode past him on e-scooters close to the skatepark.

The victim was taken to hospital for treatment to minor head and facial injuries.

Description

One of the offenders is described as aged 18, of large build, clean shaven and wearing a green bomber jacket.

The second offender is described as aged 18, of slim build, five foot eleven inches tall with stubbly facial hair and wearing black clothing.

Police Constable Sarah Fuller, of Poole police, said: “This incident has had a significant impact on the victim and we are doing all we can to identify the offenders.

“I am appealing to anyone who was in the area of Baiter Park and saw what happened to please come forward.

“We know that the park was quite busy at this time so if you have information about who was responsible, please contact Dorset Police.”
