Police have confirmed the name of a woman who died after being hit by a car as she crossed a dual carriageway in Southampton.
Clare Munn, 45, of Ellwood Avenue, Thornhill, was knocked down on Bitterne Road West on 2 May.
A police spokesperson said: "Investigations into the exact circumstances of the collision are ongoing and the driver of the Audi 4 is helping us with our enquiries.
"The collision happened at the road’s junction with Rampart Road at around 10pm that evening."
