A charity single raising money for families affected by the pandemic in Dorset has been released.

Juliet Hyslop from Weymouth has struggled with her own mental health, especially during this third national lockdown, but she wanted to do something to help out.

Juliet told us where all the money raised will be going:

"It's called the Covid-19 emergency fund.

"It's basically a fund set up to help families that are living on the bread line, who have been very very let down."

Juliet decided as a form of therapy and escapism to write a song called 'Wear Your Mask', loosely based on P!nk's 'Raise Your Glass'.

Juliet managed to get a local singer and musician involved, as well as someone to film a video to go alongside the song.

She hopes the single will support the NHS in Dorset by highlighting the importance of wearing a mask:

"The longer that people don't wear a mask, the more time myself and millions of others won't see their families.

"But, I also did it to raise awareness of the struggling NHS.

"If we can do just one simple thing by wearing a mask, then we are saving lives."
