Three Teens Charged With Assault

One of them, a 14-year-old boy, is charged with possessing a weapon

Detectives investigating a stabbing outside Gorseinon Bus Station have charged three boys aged 14, 14 and 15 with a section 18 assault and one of the 14 year-olds with possession of a weapon.

All three boys are remanded in custody and are due to appear at Swansea Magistrates’ Court today (Saturday, February 10).

Emergency services were called to the scene at around 6pm on Thursday, February 10.

A 14 year-old boy remains in a stable condition at the University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff.

Detective Inspector Patrick Catto said “I would like to thank the community for their support and those who have engaged with police and provided information to support these charges.

"The carrying of knives on our streets will not be tolerated and those individuals who ignore this will be dealt with robustly and promptly by South Wales Police.”
