Phillip Schofield leaves This Morning fans gutted with announcement about Holly Willoughby

She's not returning in 2018!

When popular TV host Ant McPartlin announced he'd made the decision to step down from presenting I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here this year, fans were left devastated! But when Holly Willoughby was revealed as his replacement and left viewers in hysterics with her hilarious reactions on the show, this year's series turned into one of the most viewed in history.

However, now that the 2018 series of I'm A Celeb is over and done with for another year, with Harry Redknapp being crowned the King of the Jungle, fans of This Morning are keen to see Holly return to the UK to present the show alongside Phillip Schofield.

But viewers of the popular daytime show were left devastated last night (Sunday 9th December), when Phillip announced that Holly WILL NOT be returning in 2018.

When fans asked Phillip when they can expect to see Holly back, the 56-year-old replied writing, 'Nope, she can’t get back in time, the first time we’re on telly together is @dancingonice in the new year.' sic

After last night's final show finished, Dec Donnelly paid tribute to Holly. Speaking to the viewers at home, Dec said, "We hope you've enjoyed the past three weeks as much as we have, and Holly, thank you you have been amazing! Thank you so much for everything."

Holly then took to her Instagram page to write a sweet message about her time on the show, she wrote, 'Yaaaaaas! So wonderful to be able to crown the man that melted our hearts for the last 3 weeks! Congratulations King Harry... @imacelebrity it's been the most wonderful adventure... it's been a dream... thank you for having me... Jam roly poly's all round!!!!' sic

Holly later posted an adorable photo of her three children Belle, Harry and Chester sitting in the famous camp. She added, 'Thank you for having us!' sic

Former football manager Harry Redknapp was crowned the winner of I'm A Celebrity 2018, with Emily Atack and John Barrowman also making it to the final.

The I'm A Celeb Coming Out show is due to air on ITV at 9pm on Wednesday 12th December.
