Pint-sized pop princess Kylie Minogue has taken to Instagram to celebrate a massive 30 years since she released her debut, self-titled album 'Kylie' in the UK! As well as posting the iconic artwork with her permed hair through a black hat, she captioned the image,

'My first album was released in The UK 30 years ago today. No, this is not a typo. THIRTY YEARS AGO TODAY! Happy anniversary to the album, KYLIE ... and the brim hat!!! This was an amazing time in my life ... connecting with you through music, learning about the record industry and travelling the world. What are your memories of this time and this album?'

As requested, her fans responded with their memories of the album, with one saying, 'Still love listening to this even now ! I remember it so well as I had my ears pinned back that year and had loads of bandages on and struggled to hear it for weeks ! X' sic, another said, 'Theeeeeee best one to date I still listen to it!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️'.

Kylie, who celebrated her 50th birthday just over a month ago was just 20-years-old at the time the album was released, having become a household name by starring as Charlene Mitchell in the popular Australian soap Neighbours. 'Kylie' was Kylie's debut album and included some of her biggest hits from the 80s, 'I Should Be So Lucky', 'Got to Be Certain', 'The Loco-Motion' and 'Je ne sais pas pourquoi'.

Since her debut album all those years ago Kylie has had a massive 73 singles and 14 studio albums, her most recent being the country-inspired album 'Golden'. Kylie travelled to Nashville to record her new album and earlier this year she spoke to James Corden on The Late Late Show with James Corden to tell him about the experience.

Kylie told James how she met Dolly Parton a few years ago and "went to pieces" saying she has a "presence". She then got onto the subject of her music video for 'Golden' as James said he was keen to see if Kylie could teach him and Benedict some line dancing!

Kylie duly took to the stage and joined by James and the Avengers: Infinity War actor took them through some of the steps. Then, accompanied by the house band, the trio danced to the audience's delight!

Earlier this year Kylie announced her UK 'Golden' Tour. Whilst the production which will be centred around her new album 'Golden', she is expected to also perform a number of hits from her amazing back catalogue.
