Popular Hollyoaks actress Sarah Jayne Dunn has tied the knot with her personal trainer partner Jon Smith in a ceremony which was attended by some of her co-stars and celebrity friends.
Sarah, who plays the role of Mandy Richardson in the Channel 4 soap, married Jon over the May Bank Holiday weekend at The Holford Estate in Cheshire. Sharing some photos from her big day, Sarah took to Instagram to write, 'I’m thrilled to share with you exclusive photos from mine & @jon_smith_pt beautiful wedding last weekend at the stunning @theholfordestate #plumley 💗👰🏼🤵🏼👦🏼 '. sic
A number of Sarah's Hollyoaks co-stars attended the wedding, as well as former stars Danny Mac and his wife Carley Stenson. Former Westlife singer Kian Egan was also in attendance for the ceremony.
Speaking to OK! Magazine about her big day, Sarah revealed that getting married in front of the couple's son was very special to her. She said, "To marry in front of our son was such a special moment."
The actress also revealed she had feelings for Jon as soon as she met him. She added, "I knew Jon was the one for me the first day I met him. After we met at my audition I texted Carley Stenson saying, 'I have to get this job because I need to get to know this guy!'"
Sarah and Jon welcomed their first child into the world in August 2016, with Sarah often posting adorable pictures of him to her Instagram page.
After giving birth, the actress made her return to Hollyoaks last year, following a four-year absence from the show.
Sarah originally starred in the popular soap between 1996 to 2013, playing the role of Mandy Richardson. Since returning to the village with her daughter Ella, Mandy has rekindled her romance with Luke Morgan (Gary Lucy) and despite having an affair with long-standing character Darren Osborne (Ashley Taylor Dawson), Mandy married Luke earlier this year.
