Hollyoaks spoilers: Monday 17 – Friday 21 December 2018: During the run up to Christmas, it all kicks off in Hollyoaks and it starts with Mandy Richardson and Darren Osborne receiving heartbreaking news about their unborn baby. Also in the village, things come to a head between Sinead O'Connor and Donna-Marie Quinn when the newbie realises she already knows Sinead...
Elsewhere in Hollyoaks, the McQueens attempt to celebrate Christmas together - despite their differences - but it's not long before the police arrive with news about Russ Owen's murder.
Not only that, but Yasmine Maalik winds up Ste Hayes, Liam Donovan and Lisa Loveday continue to get up to no good and Jack Osborne gives Breda McQueen an adorable Christmas present.

Mandy and Darren receive news about their baby
Mandy finally opens up to Darren and reveals their baby might have spina bifida. She then tells her boyfriend that they'll find out the results at the scan tomorrow.

Finally, Lily drags Prince to the hospital to find out his test results…
Mandy and Darren receive news about their baby
Mandy finally opens up to Darren and reveals their baby might have spina bifida. She then tells her boyfriend that they'll find out the results at the scan tomorrow.
Darren is devastated that Mandy kept the truth from him but after a conversation with Nancy Osborne and Jack Osborne he's convinced to attend the baby scan.
During their scan, the doctor confirms their little one has Spina Bifida.
Luke keeps in contact with his family.
Mandy visits her estranged husband in prison.
What will he say about her pregnancy?
Later on in the week, Darren and Mandy tell the kids about the baby's condition however it leaves Ollie Morgan feeling like a burden to the family.
Sinead and Donna-Marie battle it out
Elsewhere in the village, Sinead O'Connor plans to ruin Laurie's lunch with Sally and the governor but has a change of heart and instead decides to impress them.
She comes up with the brilliant idea that the teachers should join in and take part in the school nativity.
Following their lunch, Donna-Marie bumps into Sinead and recognises her as a former fellow prostitute but Sinead pretends she's never seen her in her life.
Later, Donna-Marie accidentally reveals to Juliet that Romeo almost ran off with Lily McQueen.
Eek!
Furious, she starts destroying the backdrop for the school's play but when Laurie spots her action he kicks her out of the nativity.
Donna-Marie has her daughter's back at tells Sinead to either get Juliet back on the school play or she'll tell Laurie all about her past…
Eager to not let the truth out, Sinead convinces Juliet to go back to school and tells her she's allowed to perform in the school play. However it soon becomes clear that Sinead hasn't changed at all when she plants drugs in Donna-Marie's handbag and then tweets about it.
It doesn't take Donna-Marie long to put two and two together and after she realises Sinead framed her, she gets up on stage and reveals to everyone that Sinead used to be a prostitute.
It all kicks off at the McQueens house
Over to the McQueen household and Mercedes tries to have Russ' body released but is unsuccessful. Later Breda and Goldie McQueen beg Sylver to convince Mercedes into letting them all spend Christmas together.
Mercedes and Sylver KISS
However one thing leads to another and Sylver and Mercedes end up KISSING!
Later on, Mercedes is not impressed that Goldie is joining her for Christmas and ends up chucking gravy all over her.
Eek!
It looks like Mercedes will be the last of Goldie's worries because Myra has a wonderful idea on how to make this year's Christmas one to remember.
The police come knocking
Just when you think the McQueens have been through enough drama, the police arrive and make a huge announcement about Russ' killer…
Yazz brags to Ste
Meanwhile in the village, Yasmine Maalik seems to have succeeded in ruining Ste Haye's mince pie sale and decides to brag to him about her new iPhone.
Lisa and Liam are up to no good
Liam Donovan and Lisa Loveday try to sell some dodgy vodka to Brody Hudson.
Grace forces a downbeat Liam to celebrate Christmas with her and Curtis but it all goes wrong.
Jack gives Breda a present
Also Jack Osborne gives Breda McQueen a dog and she names him Bronzer.

Now for a catch up on all the drama that will happen next week - aka the week before the spoilers above. Things kick off to a bad start between Lily and Prince McQueen as he continues to keep his cancer scare a secret.
Even though Romeo Quinn is aware of Prince's health scare he still tries to woo Lily McQueen - rude!
Also in the village, Cindy wants to return home but Mac Nightingale tries to convince her otherwise and it soon becomes clear that he's up to no good... Also, Maxine Minniver is left annoyed with Damon Kinsella, Brody Hudson receives some bad news and Jesse Dovovan desperately tries to hold onto the salon.
Hollyoaks airs on Channel 4 every weeknight at 6.30pm, with First Look on E4 at 7pm.
