Those of you who’ve spent the last year and a half crying about the fact Mary Berry left the Great British Bake Off after its move from the BBC to Channel 4 can finally rejoice – because the original episodes of the show are coming to Netflix!

All seven (yes, SEVEN!) seasons featuring judges Mary Berry and Paul Hollywood, as well as hosts Mel Giedroyc and Sue Perkins, will be available to stream from this Saturday (31st March) – so we recommend you cancel that wholesome Easter family lunch so you can lie in bed eating takeaway and binge watching.

Great British Bake Off moved to Channel 4 for the first time last year, and featured judges Prue Leith and Paul Hollywood, as well as hosts Sandi Toksvig and Noel Fielding.

It was hit with a little bit of controversy when the show aired last Summer, after Prue accidentally tweeted the winner while on holiday because she got confused about the time difference.

Clearly excited about the episode, Prue got a little bit ahead of herself and tweeted the words, 'No one told me judging a #gbbo final would be so emotional. I wanted them all to win. Bravo,' and then wrote the winner's name.

Sophie Faldo was crowned the first winner of the Channel 4 series, with the show expected to return again this year.
