Not only is Phil Collins a well-known solo artist, he was also part of Genesis, famous for hits such as 'Mama', 'I Can't Dance' and 'Invisible Touch'. And now the singer has said that there could be a Genesis reunion, on one condition.

When asked about the possibility of a Genesis reunion in a recent Rolling Stone interview, Phil said he is still pretty close with Mike Rutherford and Tony Banks from the group but, “I can’t imagine what it would be like if I didn’t play the drums, but anything is possible.”

However, Phil, who suffers from nerve damage and now finds it difficult to walk and drum, then said that it could be a possibility, if his 17-year-old son Nicholas played the drums.

“I’m saying this to you… I haven’t really said it to Tony and Mike,” the 67-year-old said. “I did mention to Tony very quietly if we did anything again it would be with Nic on drums. He kind of didn’t say no. But I’m not sure if he heard me or not.”

Phil's son previously played the drums on his Dad's 2016 'Not Dead Yet!' tour.

Although there have been a number of line-ups over the years, Phil, Mike and Tony reunited 11 years ago to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the band with a European and North American tour, the 'Turn It On Again: The Tour'.

While we have our fingers crossed for a reunion, here is the music video for their 1991 hit 'Jesus He Knows Me'.
