HURRY Asda is selling Champagne for £8 this weekend

Party season is well underway and we’ve already ploughed through more mince pies and bottles of Prosecco than we’d care to remember. With Christmas being a very expensive time, we practically leapt out of our chairs when we heard about Asda’s fabulous deal on champers.
For a limited time only, Asda will be selling its award-winning Pierre Darcys Champagne Brut for under a tenner. Less than ten pounds for this year’s Bronze Award winning Champagne at the International Wine Challenge Awards.
The bubbly, boasting "delicate aromas of lemon and apple, with hints of ripe nectarine," is usually sold at £18 a bottle but was recently reduced to £12 for the party season.
However, from Friday 8th to Sunday 10th December the Champagne will be on offer for £8 a bottle. For those with a thing for maths, that’s about £1.30 a glass!
With Christmas just around the corner, it’s probably a good idea to stock up on a few (hundred) bottles while you can.
In other boozy news, you can now get gin Christmas lights. The set of 16 lights look like mini green gin bottles and will set you back around £25, so more than your average set of lights, but imagine the look on your friends' faces.
