We definitely do not pretend to be culinary experts, our palette is far from mature and you’re more likely to find us ordering a 20-box of chicken nuggets direct to our door, or stuffing our faces at a pizza and prosecco festival than detecting notes of gooseberry in the Sancerre at a wine tasting.
Having said that, we love an interesting new flavour combination, particularly when it comes to the humble potato chip. Although, Tesco’s Candy Cane crisps were just that step too far…
Anyway, Lidl has absolutely smashed it with its new flavour combo for the party season. Not only is it fancy (so we can pretend to be sophisticated when we invite our mates round for a chip and dip soirée) but it’s also infused with alcohol. And not just any alcohol, but this year’s tipple of choice: Gin. Oh, glorious GIN.

The Gin and Juniper Roast Pork crisps are part of a Deluxe range of festive hand cooked crisps, which are available to buy now at UK stores across England, Scotland and Wales as part of Lidl’s seasonal offering.
We’re off to grab our bags in bulk now.
It comes after Lidl announced they'd be selling hand crafted and traditionally distilled Rhubarb & Ginger and Raspberry Gin Liqueurs.
