CCTV released as part of investigation into assault on man leaving Barbie movie party in Stoke-on-Trent

It happened in the early hours of the morning on the 20th of August last year

Staffordshire Police have released CCTV images of seven people, after a man was assaulted in Stoke-on-Trent last year.

At around 4am on 20 August 2023, a man in his 20s was assaulted on Foundry Street. He has been left with permanent injuries to his knee.

Police say whilst they know it happened some time ago, "we have been looking at CCTV, speaking to people about what happened and carrying out enquiries in the area as part of the investigation."

"Now, we’re able to share images of seven people which we want to speak to about the assault. "

The assault happened after a party at The Sugarmill which was themed around The Barbie Movie.
