Woman charged with murder after two children died in Stoke-on-Trent

A woman has been charged with murder after two children were found unresponsive in Stoke-on-Trent.

Veronique John, aged 49, from the city, faces two counts of murder and one count of attempted murder.

This is after Ethan and Elizabeth John (aged 11 and 7) died at a house in Flax Street, and a man was stabbed in Campbell Road on Sunday (11 June).

Veronique John is due to appear at North Staffordshire Justice Centre tomorrow (Thursday 14 June).
