Keane has been announced as the first act for next year's series of concerts at Forestry England-managed locations in the country.

As part of Forest Live 2021, the band will be performing at Thetford Forest on Friday 18th June, joined by special guests Flyte and supported by Michael Ryan.

This year's planned shows were cancelled due to the coronavirus outbreak.

At the time it was announced a spokesperson for Forestry England said: "We would like to send our deepest apologies to everyone who was hoping to see a Forest Live 2020 show. We were very excited to welcome you into forests across England to see some incredible live music.

"Thank you for your continued support and we look forward to welcoming you back to Forest Live in 2021."

Keane was also part of the 2020 lineup joining the likes of Madness, Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds and Rag'n'Bone Man.

The band returned last year with the studio album 'Cause and Effect' following a six year hiatus.

Over the last 20 years over 1.9 million people have attended a Forest Live gig, which Forestry England say helps plant 8 million trees annually and allows them to run conservation projects.

Tickets go on sale at 9am on 25th September on the Forestry England website.
