Five Ipswich facilities receive top tourism awards
Five venues and outdoors spaces in Ipswich have been recognised by Tripadvisor as among the top 10% of hospitality businesses in the World.
Ipswich Borough Council say The Regent Theatre, Ipswich Museum, Christchurch Mansion, Christchurch Park, and Holywells Park have all received Travellers Choice Awards,
The prizes are based on a consistent good customer feedback and reviews.
It comes in the same year that the town was voted as one of the world's top Emerging Destinations. It was the only UK entry in Tripadvisor's top 25 list.
The council say despite the pandemic changing plans for the sites, staff have been busy making sure that customers can still enjoy or find out more about the facilities.
Councillor Sarah Barber said: "We are pleased to see our facilities getting the recognition they deserve for the great experiences they offer visitors.
"These awards showcase the hard work and dedication of our staff who go above and beyond to create a high-quality customer journey and offer a warm welcome. I am proud that we have such great facilities that help make Ipswich a fantastic place to live, work and study."
