Man in critical condition following crash near Snape

Police are appealing for witnesses to a serious traffic collision which occurred on the A1094 near Snape.

Police were called to Farnham Road just before 7am yesterday, Tuesday 7 May, to reports of a collision involving a Toyota Hiace car and a motorcycle.

The motorcyclist, a man aged in his 50s, sustained serious injuries and was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital by air ambulance, where he remains in a critical condition.

A boy aged in his late teens, who was a passenger in the car, sustained minor injury and was treated at the scene by paramedics.

Officers are appealing for any witnesses to the collision and asking any motorists driving in the area at the time of the incident with a dashcam fitted in their vehicle to review the footage.
