Orwell Bridge has reopened

It was closed overnight due to high winds in Suffolk.

Highways England has confirmed the A14 bridge reopened at around 4am this morning (21st January)

It was shut at around 8pm last night due to the high winds forecast in the area.

While closed a diversion route was in place via the A1156, A1189 and A1214 through Ipswich.
