Police appeal after stones thrown at cars on A14 near Ipswich

A car windscreen was cracked during the incident but nobody was hurt

Police are urging drivers to be vigilant and are seeking witnesses after stones were thrown at vehicles on the A14 near Ipswich earlier this week.

They were reportedly thrown from the A1071 road bridge at around 6pm on Wednesday (August 10).

Some of them hit a car travelling westbound, cracking the windscreen. Nobody was hurt.

Officers are now looking for a group of youths seen nearby.

They're also appealing for witnesses or dashcam footage taken in the area at the time.
