Teenager dragged behind van after fight in Haverhill

Police are trying to trace a man after the altercation on Tuesday afternoon

Police are looking for witnesses to a fight in Haverhill on Tuesday during which a 16 year old boy was dragged behind a van.

It happened at around 1:45pm in Duddery Hill, with a man believed to be in his 30s also involved.

The pair, who were unknown to each other, had a physical altercation in the street.

The man then got into a Ford Transit van and grabbed the victim before starting to drive off, dragging the teenager along the road.

He suffered soft tissue damage and bruising and his phone was also damaged.

The suspect is described as short with dark blonde hear and a stubbled beard. He was wearing work clothes.

The vehicle is described as burnt orange in colour with tinted windows. Police think it may have an 18 plate.
