Woman bitten by dog in Lavenham

A woman's needed six stitches to her left arm after reportedly being bitten by a dog in Lavenham.

It happened on Sunday (30 May) in Bears Lane at about 11.20am. An Alsatian dog, which was on a lead was being walked and was with two adults, aged in their 50s, and two younger looking adults.

The animal lunged at the woman, aged in her 60s, and bit her. The dog owners were apologetic and assisted the victim, although no details were exchanged.
