BREAKING: All but one Surrey borough to enter tier 3

The tougher rules will come into effect from 00:01am on Saturday (19 December)

The Health Secretary has announced all of Surrey, apart from Waverley, will move into tier three coronavirus restrictions.

It means Elmbridge, Epsom and Ewell, Guildford, Mole Valley, Reigate and Banstead, Runnymede, Spelthorne, Surrey Heath, Tandridge and Woking will all enter the very high alert level from 00:01am on Saturday morning (19 December).

Waverley will remain in tier two.
