Farnborough man killed in Aldershot crash

A man has died following a crash in Aldershot.

Police are looking for witnesses to the collision which happened on Friday evening (6 August) on Claycart road, near to the Wellington statue, off Bourley Road.

A red Peugeot 308 left the road and collided with a tree.

The driver of the vehicle, a 21-year-old man from Farnborough, died at the scene.

His next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.

The passenger, a 26-year-old man, sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital.
