Flood alert for parts of Surrey and East Hampshire after heavy rain yesterday

A flood alert has been removed after parts of Surrey and East Hampshire were under risk following heavy rainfall yesterday.

The Environment Agency issued it for the Upper River Wey - including Alton, Farnham, Bordon, Frensham, Tilford, Godalming, Guildford and Peasmarsh. - as rivers have risen overnight.

The alert was taken down this morning.

The EA is advising residents to chck its website here for current river levels.
