A flood alert remains in place this morning for parts of Surrey, around Tilford near Farnham and Cranleigh.

It follows yesterday's heavy rainfall - with a warning river levels could continue to rise last night.

The areas affected are around the Upper River Wey and Cranleigh Waters.

The Environment Agency's website says property flooding is not expected but roads and farmland could be flooded:

Cranleigh Waters

"River levels remain high but are falling on the Littlemead Brook and Cranleigh Waters as a result of yesterday's rainfall. The risk of flooding to roads and farmland remains, especially in the Cranleigh area..."

Upper River Wey:

"Property flooding is not currently expected. River levels remain high but are slowly falling on the River Wey as a result of yesterday's rainfall. The risk of flooding to roads and farmland remains, especially in the Passfield area... river levels are falling, but still pose a flood risk. "
