Two arrests made in connection with attempted burglary in Bordon.

A man, 34, and boy, 16, have been bailed with conditions.

Police have arrested a 34-year-old man and a 16-year-old boy earlier this week (28th March) in connection to an attempted burglary near Bordon.

Officers were called to a property on Frensham Lane at around 10.25 pm on Wednesday 27 March, after the homeowner heard a disturbance on his property. The homeowner was then threatened.

Despite threats being made to the homeowner, it’s not thought there were any injuries, and nothing was stolen.

Following investigations, a 34-year-old man from Liphook was arrested on suspicion of burglary other than dwelling – with intent to commit damage and making threats to kill.

And a 16-year-old boy from Bordon was arrested on suspicion of burglary dwelling – with intent to steal and making threats to kill.

Both have been bailed with conditions until 28 June.
