Hampshire disabled flying charity Aerobility has opened its silent auction to the public.

The charity based at Blackbushe Airport in Yateley has a series of lots on offer and the proceeds from the auction will give more disabled people the chance to fly

Further auction lots include:

  • Visits to NATS air traffic control towers
  • A day onboard a luxury yacht
  • EasyJet flight simulator experience
  • Genuine Red Arrows Flying Suit
  • Boeing 747 Fuselage Clock
  • Flight in a Tiger Moth
  • Wing Walking
  • A flight with the World's Fastest pilot, Andy Green

The auction is open now and will conclude at 22:00 on Saturday 20th November.

Aerobility CEO, Mike Miller-Smith, comments:

“This auction is about so much more than the amount raised, it is about delivering hope and freedom to hundreds of disabled people.

"Taking to the skies and having the chance to take the controls of an aeroplane offers a great sense of achievement, increased confidence and, very often, the first-ever opportunity to feel free from constraints of disability.

"We want to offer this experience to as many people as possible and every penny raised from this auction will go toward doing just that.”
