'Extremely heavy' bronze lion statue stolen from Guildford garden

Police are appealing for the public's help to find it

Police are asking for the public's help after a statue was stolen from a garden in Guildford.

Officers were called to Shamley Green on 3 September after the victim returned home to find that a bronze lion statue had been taken from the garden.

The burglary is believed to have occurred before 10pm that day.

It is around 5 feet tall and extremely heavy to carry.

Police are asking anyone with information that could help with their investigation to come forward quoting incident/crime reference number PR/45210093419.
