Man charged with murder after woman's death in Alton

A man has been charged with murder after the death of a woman in Alton last Sunday (10 October).

Matthew Paul Reynolds, aged 31, of Pound Gate, Alton, has also been charged with a robbery at Holybourne Post Office, which happened on 7 October.

He has been remanded in custody to appear at Basingstoke Magistrates' Court this morning (16 October) at 9.30am.
