Man left with head injuries following suspected assault in Aldershot

A man has received head injuries and a potentially fractured elbow during a suspected assault in Aldershot.

Police are appealing for witnesses following the incident on the A325, at the junction of Pavilion Road on Saturday night (26 June) between 9pm and 10pm.

It was originally reported as a road traffic incident but officers now believe the 33 year old man may have been assaulted.

DC Matthew Deery, who is leading the investigation, said:

“While several witnesses have come forward who saw the man before and after the incident, so far we have not spoken to anyone who actually saw what happened.

“If you witnessed the incident, or have any other information which could help us find out how this man came to be injured, we ask that you get in touch.”
