A man has suffered serious injuries after he was stabbed in Aldershot.

Hampshire Police say they were called out to the basketball court in Municipal Garden at around 2:20am on Wednesday (10 April).

A man in his 20s suffered serious but not life threatening injuries and was taken to hospital.

A 31-year-old man and a 27-year-old man, both from Aldershot, have been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent.

Police say officers are working relentlessly to establish exactly what happened and would like to appeal for potential witnesses and any CCTV, dashcam or doorbell footage that may help with the investigation.
