Motorcyclist killed following crash on A25 in Oxted

A motorcyclist has died following a serious crash on the A25 in Oxted.

Emergency services were called out shortly before 11am on Tuesday (26 March) to the main road between Old Oxted and Brook Hill following reports of a collision involving a white panel van and a motorcycle.

The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after the arrival of emergency services.

The driver of the van suffered minor injuries.

The road was shut for around six hours while police carried out their investigations.
