Police appeal after fail to stop incident

Surrey Police have launched an appeal for witnesses after a fail to stop collision in Epsom this morning.

A collision between a car and a moped driver occurred at around 20 to 1.

This was on the High Street between the junction for Waterloo Road and Ashley Road.

Officers have located the car that is believed to have been involved in the collision.

The moped driver has been taken to hospital with serious injuries.

Sergeant Ben Grilli said:

“We would like to appeal for any information relating to two other cars that were reportedly seen in the area at the time, which we believe may be able to help with our enquires. The vehicles have been described as a grey Mini and a black Audi Q5. If anyone in the area has seen cars matching these descriptions, or has any information, please do get in touch.”
