Surrey Police are investigating reports of criminal damage to Frimley Cricket Club.

A window was found smashed at the club house at Chobham Road Recreation Ground, although nothing was reported stolen from the building.

The damage was reported on Sunday (22 November), however, it is thought the incident could have happened anytime within the last three weeks during lockdown.

Officers added: “We are aware that the area is used by many people and this kind of damage will have a detrimental effect on both the club and local residents who regularly use the area.”

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call 101, quoting PR/45200123881.

If you do not wish to leave your name, you can call the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
