Pumpkin the pug who was stolen from her home in Surrey has been reunited with her family.

The four month old puppy went missing on Thursday afternoon (24 February) from the back garden of her family home.

She wouldn’t be able to escape from the garden herself, so police believe someone entered the garden and took her with them.

On Monday morning (7 March) Surrey Police confirmed that Pumpkin had been found and reunited with her family.

Officers believe Pumpkin was sold after being taken but was later identified and returned to the owner by members of the public.

Enquiries are ongoing.
