Teens found stabbed after serious assault in Aldershot

Police are appealing for witnesses after reports of a serious assault on Monday night (20 September) in Aldershot.

It happened at around 11pm on Auchinleck Way, near Alexandra Road.

Two boys, aged 17 and 16, were found with stab wounds.

Both were taken to St George’s Hospital in London with serious, but non-life threatening, injuries.

Officers are asking for anyone who was in the area at the time and saw anything suspicious to contac them.

They are also asking for dash-cam footage recorded on Auchinleck Way at the time of the incident.

Chief Inspector John Halfacre, district commander for Hart and Rushmoor, said: “We understand why residents might be concerned about this incident.

“Any crime involving a knife can have a devastating impact on the victim and all those involved.

“We would like to reassure the community that we are investigating the incident and that we take knife crime extremely seriously.

“The public may see additional policing activity in and around the town centre. If you have any concerns, please don’t hesitate to speak to the officers.”
