10 year old seriously injured after being hit by car in Frimley

Surrey Police are appealing for witnesses after a 10 year old boy was hit by a car in Frimley.

Police were called to The Cloisters outside Willow Court at around 8.45am yesterday morning (19 May) following reports of a collision involving the boy, who was crossing the road at the time, and a black Ford Focus.

The boy was taken to hospital by air ambulance where he remains in a serious condition.

Officers say he had a bike with him at the time - they are still trying to establish if he was riding it when the crash happened.

The driver of the Ford Focus was uninjured.

The road was closed for several hours while emergency services dealt with the incident.

Police are asking for anyone who witnessed the collision, or who has any information which could help, particularly any dashcam footage captured in the area at the time, to come forward as soon as possible.
