Police investigate two vehicle fires in Aldershot

Both went up in flames early this morning

Two vehicles have gone up in flames in Aldershot with firefighters called out twice within the space of an hour today (8 March).

They were called to reports of a delivery van on fire at Tesco in Wellington Avenue at around 4am, where they managed to extinguish the blaze by around 4:50am.

This was followed by a car blaze in Williams Avenue at 4:45pm, which firefighters put out by 5:55am.

Hampshire Police were also in attendance at both incidents - they say the fires have been deemed suspicious and an investigation is underway.
