Eastbourne: 12-year-old hospitalised after falling through roof
A 12-year-old boy has sustained serious injuries after the fall
Sussex Police have confirmed emergency services were called to Bolton Road yesterday afternoon (3 March) to reports of a boy falling through the roof of a building.
The police said the 12-year-old was "taken to hospital by the ambulance service with serious injuries", but they are not currently considered to be life-threatening.
The force shut Lismore Road to allow East Sussex Fire & Rescue to attend the scene.
East Sussex Fire & Rescue Service have since reopened the road.
The police are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
