Five metre high puppet in Sussex for 75th anniversary celebrations

A five-metre high puppet is visiting a Sussex town to mark its 75th anniversary.

Aura will be touring neighbourhoods around Crawley on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

The puppet, created by Animated Objects Theatre Company in Scarborough, is on a journey around the UK.

Friday - 11am to 3pm, Aura will travel on an open-top-bus, stopping at Bewbush West Playing Field and Maidenbower Park and visit workers in Manor Royal Business Improvement District.

Saturday - 11am – 4pm, Aura’s journey around the town centre will begin with a live band outside the Brewery Shades, then she will walk up the High Street.

Sunday - 11am – 3pm, Aura will join people in Tilgate Park for a live music event.
