Four men charged following fight in Crawley

Police are looking for a fifth man who may have been injured

Police in Crawley have charged four men following a fight and are looking for another man who they believe may have been injured.

Officers were called to an incident in Lewisham Close in the Broadfield area of the town at 3.55pm on Sunday (February 14th).

The four men were arrested at the scene.

Police believe that another man may have sustained injuries as a result of the incident, but he has not yet been found.

Detective Sergeant Mel Pyle of Sussex Police said;

“We are urging this man to make contact with us so that we can check on his welfare and speak to him about this incident.

"We are also appealing for any other witnesses to make contact.

"Please contact us online or by calling 101, quoting serial 750 of 14/02”.

Kharrum Chaudary, 40, a deliveryman, of Lewisham Close; Thomas Franks, 29, unemployed, of Langley Lane, Ifield, Crawley: Bashir Khan, 39, a driver, of Fennel Close, Crawley: and Jan Lee, 29, unemployed, of Martyrs Avenue, Langley Green, Crawley, have all been charged with threatening behaviour and are to appear at Crawley Magistrates Court on April 14th.
