Community hall in Chichester burgled

Police are looking for a man and woman in connection with the incident.

Equipment worth around £500 has been stolen from a community hall in Chichester.

A sound system consisting of speaker and microphone is reported to have been stolen from The Newell Centre in Tozer Way.

It happened between 8pm on Tuesday (13 October) and 7.30am on Wednesday (14 October).

According to Sussex Police, at around 7pm on Monday (12 October), a man and a woman were seen to enter the centre and "act suspiciously", before leaving.

The man is described as 5’4”, mid-late 30s, skinny, with a gaunt face and unshaven, wearing a denim baseball cap, a black zipped bomber jacket, a red-and-white scarf and skinny fit blue jeans.

The woman is described as 5’4”, mid-late 30s, with blonde mousey hair in a ponytail, a rounded face with of a slight tan, and wearing a leopard print face mask with a blue denim jacket, white T-shirt and skinny fit blue denim jeans.

Officers are now keen to hear from anyone who may have seen a man and woman matching this description around that time, or anyone seen acting suspiciously around the time of the burglary.

Specifically, police would like to establish the identity of the woman wearing the face mask, who was accompanying the man.
