Police respond after suspect is reported near two schools
Police officers responded to a report of a man seen with a shot gun in the vicinity of Litten Gardens in Chichester.
Officers have detained a man in relation to the incident which happened at 2.00pm on Friday (28 May).
As the suspect was reported to be near two schools, Police worked with them to take precautions to keep pupils and staff safe while they investigated the report.
No threats were made and no one was harmed.
The public has been thanked for its patience and understanding while Police responded to this 'fast moving' incident.
