Man hospitalised after aggravated burglary in Littlehampton

Men armed with a knife and a metal pole threatened residents

Police are investigating an aggravated burglary in Littlehampton which left a man needing hospital treatment.

Officers were called to a disturbance at a house in Southfields Road at shortly after 7.30pm on Thursday night (February 11th).

Two men entered the premises, assaulted a male occupant – who suffered head and foot injuries – and threatened others.

One suspect is described as white British, over 6’, of skinny build and wearing a dark hoody. He was carrying a metal pole.

The second suspect is described as white British, about 5’10”, with fair, curly hair and wielding a knife. Both were wearing snoods.

A Volkswagen Passat car may have been involved which the attackers left the area in.

The investigation is ongoing and the motivation for this incident is currently unknown.
